The new miniature rose - the peachy-orange blooms are gone, but it's nice and green in its pot!

Yes, N2organics - they're sold as "aqua globes" here in Houston...they're made of glass and hold quite a bit of water...

Here's a far better "aqua globe" design that I am using in one of my flower beds: http://www.growsonyou.com/photo/slideshow/93702--home-built-aqua-globes/member/n2organics
Works great!

What a good idea. Not seen those before! Ideal for holidays I suppose!

Thanks Hywel...yes, Milky, they do, you just have to be careful they don't fall as they are glass and do break...they're supposed to water plants for 2 weeks but here in Houston it's too hot and I'm re-filling some every day, as well as watering.
Paulthegardener, they've really helped keep my plants alive, though my friend Larry also stops by and waters them.
I'll take a look at your link, N2organics! Aqua globes have become very hard to find. And I still need 4 more.

I'm curious, is the blue object one of those "watering balls"?
Nice looking little plant!
