You would think they would need staking.

This is my favorite color hollyhock, reminds me of my grandmother.

No need to stake them until we have rough weather they are really strong
and Fcrazy its funny how flowers and fruit remind us of the people that are no longer with us.(the big egg plums or Victory plums remind me of one of my grandmothers she had a lovely tree in her garden.

Yes Marann, I have several plants in the garden that my grandmother gave me many years ago and I cherish them. This way I always have a part of her with me.
