Camping in northern CA
This was our welcoming commitee. As soon as we pitched the tent, this guy whirled in and landed to investigate. There was this one with white and black antennae and then one with just black antennae

It was so huge that it did freak me out a little. But I just had to photograph it...of course. It didn't land on me which was good, because I would have done a gigantic, lost my mind, freaky dance!
