I bought this one as a patio flower...I've repotted it and it is sprouting new shoots and looking promising.

How strange......I have been contemplating getting one as well.......Its lovely Lori......only seen red here.....

http://www.plant-care.com/mandevilla-overwintering.html I've also seen this called Brazilian Jasmine... it isn't scented though. will have to look up Dipladenia, thanks Shahida. Thanks Milky and Arlene...I was expecting tht they would be red, too, Milky..but was delighted to find this colour. Will have to bring it in come September. Hope it likes being a houseplant.

Very pretty Mandevilla vine! Dipladenia and Mandevilla are almost alike. We have many species and varieties available here. Mandevilla 'Alice du Pont' has a nice fragrance....however, the endless varieties seem to have lost most of their fragrance. If you can find Mandevilla
boliviensis...it has an incredibly fragrant flower.

I thought it is Dipladenia.I bought 2 this year.I think mine won't survive in winter outside.
