Thanks Bernieh, this was the first garden bed I started about 15 years ago. My obsession with gardening started here, all because I wanted to have a birdbath in the yard.....;-)

What a lovely scene. I've got caladium planted now for three months and they haven't come up. Any advice? I even popped one out to make sure they weren't rotting, just green tips and sitting there.

Appreciate your comments Sanbaz !
GT, caladiums will not do much growing until the nighttime temps stop dropping below 65 to 70 degrees F. They want it hot, hot, hot. That's why I don't put my tubers I've overwintered in the ground until the last week of of May. Being they are so late to emerge I always wind up buying several that have been started in a greenhouse to satisfy me until mine come back . The ones I planted this May are just starting to get some size on them now.

Thanks for the info. I was really wondering. We get into the night 50's still, I'll have to bring them in to start.

You just got my imagination going to. I'm ready to plant bee balm behind my birdbath like yours. For some reason I planted mine in front of the bird bath and it hides it. Will move it as soon as it get's going. Thanks
