My rose is just starting to grow over the top of the rose arbour as you can see.

That's what attracted me to it in the first place Terratoonie. The surroundings are relatively dark by comparison so when it has covered my rose arbour it should look quite startling. In fact the same color is taken up by my day lilies a week or so after... of which I have far too many for my little patch.

We have quite heavy clay soil here but with lots of fresh compost and some fertilizer in it too, which is why it is growing so fast. It's a beauty isn't it?
