Thanks FC. My lone iris. I'd like more, but I neglected to start the ones I bought last winter, got buried in all my other bulbs. I wonder if I should just plant them and hope for next year?

I would, they probably won't save over another winter. I'd go for it, you'll be surprised how quickly they will catch up with the others.

Thanks, I'm going to try. If anything, I'll pot them and let them finish out in the greenhouse if they come that late. :-)

Definitely plant them Gt,you have nothing to lose,unless of course you`d like to lose neighbours mower of course,lol.......
