Nice white dahlia with many buds to come. Simple but effective. This is in a white spot, next to shast daisies and allyssum. A little too white perhaps. :-)

All the plants in this area are white, decreases the differences between each I think. But I do like the strength white has in presence.

I like this :)
I too have a white area of planting Greenthumb, it's one of 3 waves of colour.
The first wave is pink shades, then purple shades and then white and yellow shade.

That sounds lovely Louise! I tried to go without much planning and see how it took me. This area is white dahlia, shasta daisies and white allysum, with a white iberis to start them off which is finished. I'm glad I've got a higher tier to get a few other colors, ligularia daylily and bergamot once they start blooming. :-)

Thank you Motinot, me too. I got a good selection of them last year that are all doing well. I bought some interesting stargazer dahlias this year that I can't wait to open. They are like a single bloom cactus dahlia. Should be interesting. I'm adding a new variety each year. :-)

I'm a big fan of white in the garden - don't know if there can be 'too much' white as it really adds impact.
