Ivy overflow!

My amplifier planter is overflowing with its' new ivy plant.
This was an organic experiment to see if an ivy would thrive in a pure organic environment. The basic soil was a mix of non-peat-moss organic potting soil, some compost from my compost pile, a splash of lava-sand, a splash of Texas green sand, and some expanded shale. The plant was "dry rooted", {Dry rooting is a technique that removes all media from the roots before planting, commonly used for large tree relocation. The raw roots are soaked in water for about 6 hours before the transplanting takes place.}
So far, it has been growing 1/2 inch per day..
