Have seen them over here Mushybanna - the one I have seen recently had these rick dark leaves and cherry red flowers. Will be interested to see what colour flowers you get on this. I also like canna with variegated leaves.

A beautiful variety of Canna! This variety, if I'm not mistaken grows very tall to more than 10 feet/3 meters tall.

OHH i hope so that will be fantastic if they do .Are they like normal cannas
and grow lots of new ones from the base. I started of with one last year which had two in .Once died down i separated them into 2 put them on a sunny widow sill in march with a plastic bag over the top by end of april had 7 of them!.
Will they be as hardy to think or should i protect them more than the other types of canna or are they all the same

Mushybanna:
I think they grow just like any other Canna...soon you should have many new plants at the base. Most Canna varieties are pretty hardy...however, it depends on how cold you get in Winter. Does your soil freeze?

Not really freeze's but can get hard average winter down to minus 1-3 bad winter -7 to -10
We had a bad winter this year but that was the worst for 12 years i think the lowest it got was -7

Mushybanna:
If the roots are mulched, I would think it would survive.
However, when we were discussing the Iresine and Alocasia you posted... they would not tolerate -3 degrees C. at all...these plants would be killed at even higher temps.
