A pretty common vine which grows and bloom most of the year here. Still at the nursery. Photo taken July 5, 2009.

Yes, they are...here they do bloom all year, hence the reason for their popularity. I had Mandevilla 'Red Riding Hood' in the ground at my other house...it was always in bloom.

The "Red Parasol" series. Very hardy compared to many Mandevilla's. 28f doesn't do much, if anything to it with no protection.

Yes, the hybrids are hardy; however, don't have the fragrance like many species.
