I just bought this daylily last spring so it was only 1 fan.....not very much foliage at all, in fact I was surprised that it even bloomed for me. When they mature, they get many more fans so you see more foliage on the older ones. About that time they say they should be divided. But even then, the flower usually stands taller than the foliage so you don't often see it in pics.

A long shot here since this is from 2008. Would you happen to still have the daylily Catherine Hawn? Catherine Hawn who it was named for was a member of my daylily club until she passed last year. Would like to have it in the garden to remember her.

That is one of the most beautiful daylilys I've ever seen!..I've seen all the lovely (and not-so-lovely) hybrids but this one is truly gorgeous...one question..when we see pics we usually see an up-close of a blossom, not the whole plant...one of the things I like about this specie is that it has so many blooms (even if for a short time span). Do these hybrids have much of a plant presence? their foliage always seems insignificant.
