FAO Irish, Macrimmon & Mr Digs – if you remember I thought this was a tattie and so was disappointed when I pulled it up and it revealed no tatties (Mac, I waited for the flowers as instructed) however on closer inspection discovered it was a Chinese Lantern (Physalis) – success at last

yis are all sacked !! I thought I was the amateur around here - Sandra I had a Physalis (Chinese lantern) last autumn and it "vanished" as plants do and reappeared a few weeks ago and if I remember correctly you may have been one of the culprits that lead me to believe it was a tattie !!! ( I'm away to check) .................... yip Sandra one of the instigators "shame on you" Just noticed Mr Digs sneaking in there when I was away to check on Sandras hand in this abomination - Mr Digs I will deal with you later !!! Meantime we are waiting for Eileen to make her excuses !!!

Mac we get the tattie scones however they are flown in from Scotland – need to tell you story –in Ireland we get sausage meat in a roll or joint (basically a bit lump of sausage meat) and my darling husband bought some and made squares of them (bless|) I had to tell him they were very nice however not quite the same otherwise I’d be eating them from here to eternity
