Thanks D1! this plant is a crackerjack. I'd recommend it heartily for anyplace moist...it really likes water. Speaking of water ....how are things in San Diego waterwise? Just saw a post from Gt in Fairbanks who says they have very dry conditions up there too!

Now that's what I'm talking about...., it's drop dead gorgeous Lori, I must have five or six of these, and still want more...lol.

I saw a pure white one the other day and nearly put my car in the ditch gopping at it! lol...

Wonderful colour blue are these hardy ?

yes, Mushyb...they are totally hardy....our winters are long and extremely cold ...this is the second season for this plant! ...It's so pretty and I'm happy it survived...one of my neighbours has a pure white flower (reg. green leaves) and an almost perfect blue (green leaves also.) Part of the reason I really treasure "Sweet Kate' is the yellow foliage! I love blooming plants but I'm a foliage nut....
