Hot border beginning to flower.

Hot border beginning to flower.

Soon there will be more colour when all the Heleniums and Dahlias are out.

Aha - you have other colours besides pink in your garden then :-)

Oh, Andrew! I only have a few...and a little pink corner...and you have seen my new bed! That's not at all pink! :-)

your borders are all so lovely :o)

Thanks, Sandra. I haven't got the heights right in this one - the plant at the far left is one of two clumps of white Michaelmas Daisies. I didn't realise that they'd grow quite so tall, and they are in the wrong place, especially as they flower very late. In the spring, I shall HAVE to move them...I've been irritated by them for three years!

I know, I know, I'm a fusspot - but I like things RIGHT!!

I know what you mean spritz. I have finally got round to moving some camassias - they were at the front of a border and the foliage looked awful as it decayed after flowering. Now they are hidden further back and can moulder out of sight

Pity I can't move them now - but they are far too big and it's definitely the wrong time of year. :-(

Like all your garden, this is a lovely part.

i understand, if something is in wrong place you find you get drawn to it , still looks great to me :o)

Thanks! - I'm just not happy with it at the moment - there are lots of flowers behind the Michaelmas Daisies! I can't see them, and what's the point of them being there unseen?

arrr i get it now, yes very frustrating , well when its finished flowering you can move it and will be happier next year :o)

I do hope I can get it right, Sandra! - eventually!

I DID pluck up the courage to move one of the clumps, Sbg - foolhardy? Possibly. I'm hoping they'll survive, though. The border looks better now. :-)
