This plant is now in flower - I don't like it nearly as much when the yellow flowers open! The dark foliage is so lovely as a foil for other plants.

Sorry but I like the combination, I just wish it would clump up more.

Clump up? Dotty, keeping it in check is more of a problem with me. It runs quite a bit.

They've been banned from my clump this year.

Yes, it does 'run'. I dug out a whole lot last winter to make space for some Heucheras and a Skimmia plus some bulbs, but it hasn't made a lot of difference. More will be going this next winter, to keep it within bounds.
