lysimachia ciliata "firecracker"

To illustrate how serious this plant is...these are growing amidst the raspberries!

These lysimachias are such good value as they flower for ages, don't they!

I have to confess, Toto....I did not buy these as plants or sow any seeds...they escaped the neighbour's garden....they came in, under the fence, and are battling the raspberries for supremacy! Very pretty flowers and foliage...I decided I wouldn't rip them out.

You'll have to to let us know who wins.

They have ceased blooming and have set seed...so guess that's success...the raspberries are still there and looking like they don't care...so I have to declare a stalemate! lol.

I rhink the Lysimachia has won as you now have seeds which you can propagate more from. I'm sure you will as they are really beautiful.
