Great photo, Clarice. Reminds me of holidays years ago when my children were small. We holidayed in the Lake District but always stopped at Blackpool on the way back to see the lights :)

Gee i love the Lake District.

I do too, Clarice. Last went there about 4 years ago with my daughter and children. I was treated to a surprise holiday there when I retired from the NHS.

Bit of a long way, to the lakes from where you live is'nt it Gee.

I've only been to Blackpool twice Clarice, the last time it rained non-stop and we had to buy a little cape from a man making the most of the weather, felt like a ham sandwich LOL. Still had a good day though, plenty to do.
