This is the time of year when oleanders are profuse. Here, in Spain, they are the motorway plants. Pink and white and vivid and cheering to see.

Thanks all for comments. Feed back is encouraging! I like the white ones best although I also have the pink. But in this climate, with the bluest of skies, the white seem more vivid and lively. On the motorways they are planted down the middle - a big jumble of colours. They prune them ruthlessly too, come along with a machine and slash them almost to the ground.
