The nightshades are beautiful plants. We had bittersweet nightshade in many places growing up, a purple cast to the leaves and scarlet berries.

Sounds great. Its good to know which plants are poisonous to humans and which are poisonous to which species of animals, (dogs, cats, horses etc.)

Definately. This was bailed up in the hay we'd bought for some goats and killed one of them when I was a child. My father found it in the manger and made sure I learned to identify it.
