Gosh this takes me back many years used to visit a friend who had them growing in her garden, they used to fascinate my children the way they stay in whatever position you put them, think I will look around for these!

is that the name of the flower or is it being good and behaving for you? =)

The latin name is Physostegia, I used to have some but lost them, despite them appearing to be really tough.

Jacque, I thought you did what my mother does - tell her flowers "to behave and be beautiful and give her lots of flowers"! She even calls them her "other" daughters...and when she is angry with my sister and I, she says they're her obedient children...LOL Interesting that's their name.

Yes apparantley flower arrangers like these as they can be put in different positions and stay there hence the name! See you learn something every day LOL!!
