Blog 10. Marie pulling palm

We did actually buy three large palms. This photo is to show that Marie did do a lot of the heavy work as well. That ingenious contraction is block board with 6 industrial castors attached. The palm, with soil, weighed about 400 lbs. The castors gave way eventually, but we'd nearly finished the jungle by then.

I did used to garden with a baby on my back - it was the only way I could get any work done with 4 children in 5 years! Now, in their 20's, none of them likes gardening!

You cured them of the obsession by strapping them on your back!!
I posted the previous pic...asking if you owned a landscaping machine made by Kubota, like a mini-earthmover/forklift. I repeat...I salute you, Madam! Wow.

Am not surprised. if I had been in a papoose and shoogled around so much, I would have felt permanently sick, lol!
