Hello Raj's mum, Sorry to keep calling you Raj. Is it you who does all the gardening? We also commonly call this plant decorative cabbage, it comes in a variety of colours but I don't think it's edible, unlike plain green, red or white cabbage which is eaten regularly in Britain. I think the edible ones are brassica oleracea capitata. Is cabbage or Kale not eaten in india?
