I really don't know :(
I've looked for caterpillars and don't see any, there's no slug/snail trails there and i don't see earwigs .... what else IS there ?? :(((
And why is it only THIS Clematis, out of all of them in the front and back, that's targeted ? :(

I need a bigger garden, or lots of trellises stretching all the way down the middle!...there are so many beautiful Clems, aren't there!

I don't know what husband would say if I suggested it. I can imagine, though! LOL.
How many do you reckon I'd get in the whole length of the side garden? I think possibly 50 if I had a double trellis! How lovely would that be? :-)))
