I dug this out of the border because it was getting too big for its allotted space...i mustn't have got it all out because up it came again and is now growing between sleepers we have laid at the back of the garden....aw well...:>)

I like it too...just a bit big for my wee garden...

I'm adding a picture of my bellflower, don't know it's proper name. Mine was the same way, huge, massive plant. I ripped and tore at it, yanked it out. I had it there for 4 years and thought I'd take it out because I wanted more variety in my tiny flower bed. This much came back this year...and two other sprigs, one to the left side of my garden and one on at the back of my garden.
As long as I can pull parts of it out when it gets too big, I'll keep a bit of it.

I know... I was really quite pleased when the Phygelius came back..its an extremely hardy plant.....I think the 'bellflower' is called Campanula...:>)
