I've done it again mentioned your Hollyhock in previous photo DOH ! Now I can see how it is taller than your hanging basket - I am lagging behind I have no stems at all just great big dinner plate leaves -

mine was like that angie when everyone`s was in flower, couldnt see any stems then all of a sudden they appeared, kept giving it tomatoe feed

I must invest in the tomato feed straight away

yes you must angie, check out discount shops just incase they sell it cheaper, think i paid about £ 3 for mine but goes along way
