Fuchsia magellanica x versicolor

Fuchsia magellanica x versicolor (Fuchsia magellanica x 'versicolor')

This isn't strictly conforming to the 'versicolor' description, as it lacks the white markings of a true versicolor, and most of the foliage retains its red colouring throughout the growing season. Makes a lovely dense bush in time, with regular pruning.

I lost mine last winter - boo hoo. It had lovely markings on the voliage.

I have just come back from Cornwall ( St Ives) and have been admiring the F. magellanicas growing as hedges and wild along the coastal paths.
