I liked it too - and it was a shot of color in a city that is mostly brown - by city ordinance! So you coouldn't paint your house bright blue in Santa Fe even if you wanted to!

So Santa Fe is Brown town ? Is there still an old part to it or am I thinking old westerns and cowboys ..well I am a Brit who only knows of Santa Fe through such things lol

oh it is very traditional - adobe-style and Spanish/French colonial architecture...even new construction is in these styles, the picture of the Spa at Loretto is modern construction done in the adobe (Native American) style, for example. That's why you can only paint your house brown...although our tour guide did say they have 66 shades of brown! But I would miss the color.
