Which is the average temperature during winter?
Here in south Brazil, the temperature can drop to -5°C during winter, the only plants kept in green houses are the cacti and the orchids.

Our average coldest day of the year is -12 C, but we got down to -15 C this winter and I lost a few things I'd been growing for last few years.....oh well !
