The Aeoniums started blooming about a month ago. These are located in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. Photo taken Jan. 14, 2011.

mine have no rhyme or reason as to when or if they flower...i have had flowers at christmas,and april but mostly in august our high summer. i have been to check on mine today...wont be long before they start growing again seed planting time comming soon to us over here, hopeing for a good hot (thats welsh hot lol ) summer..:-)

Living in the north, aeoniums are smallish houseplants.

These were pretty small also. They can grow to 6ft/2m tall or sometimes slightly taller.
My neighbor directly across the street has one that's about 6ft/2m tall which is blooming now. I'll have to ask to get some pics.
