Its an interesting combination and you wouldn't think it would work, with lavender liking dry sandy soil and ferns liking damp woodsy stuff for preference. They do look very good together don't thy?

You’re so right Sue! I have a couple of areas with lavender and ferns..god knows how I manage to keep both surviving. Sheer luck!
