Hi Delonix1
Never seen an aloe in flower before. Looks a bit like red hot pokers. Nice to see summer pictures when it is cold here!

Milky:
Thanks! Yes, it's been warm and very sunny
...however, this weather is not good for our
horrible drought.
Celadine:
Aloe species very similar to Red Hot Pokers - Kniphofia
species. It actually is not summer here...it's late fall
...however, we do have some pretty warm temps. and
very sunny weather this time of the year.

Such lovely flowers on this. It's definitely summer here - 35 degrees C today ... and the predictions say it's going to get hotter.

Yes Andy - the air-conditioner has definitely had it's first run for this summer! Actually today (Fri 4th) it's a beautiful overcast, breezy day and the temps around 26 degrees C at 10.00 am - don't you just love the tropics!!!!

It sounds wonderful! However, when the low temps
for the day are 79 - 82F/ 26 - 28C. and high temps
around 98F/ 37C. that's when it's just too hot!
Our daytime highs have been perfect...72 - 78F / 22 - 25C.
However, next week the meteorologists are predicting some
very heavy rain...we'll see if it actually comes.
