You are right! I see lots of these blue/green agaves stay happily outdoors even in winter (mature ones), but mine is still not THAT big, so I'm not going to risk it just yet.

Yep just brought mine into its winter home in the sunroom, how old is yours Tommymoo?, never had any flowers on mine yet,I lost my beautiful blue agave last winter it was huge and in the greenhouse wrapped in fleece, mind you last winter was pretty extreme,it was far to big to bring indoors unfortunately.

This one has spent two summer outdoors. Sorry to hear that you lost your blue agave last winter. I've got ("kind of") lots of blue agave babies I can send you if you fancy some :-)
