This is a replacement, as the one I had last year didn't make it.

The flowers are small, Dd - about half the size of the normal A. tinctoria. I had one last year, but it didn't take to part shade at all - this one is in a sunny position. :-)

I planted the first one at the front of my 'hot' border, which faces east, Amy. It obviously needed full sun. It should be hardy.
