Armeria maritima 'Rubrifolia' - 2014

A form of our native sea thrift with purple foliage. For me, this has done better in an alpine bed with shade from the hottest sun, rather than full exposure in a border (when some of the foliage reverts to green).

Have grown so many of these over the years, always becomes a dense mass, and then becomes brown.. very disappointing!!
