Arnica alpina

Arnica alpina (Arnica montana (Arnica))

Wild flowers here at their best. I've been wanting to collect some and see if it will stay at my house. They are choosy about their placement.

I have had luck with most transplanted wildflowers, but find that I have to take quite a bit of old soil with the plants to make them comfortable.

I'll be trying that GZ, I was thinking the least disturbed they feel, the better the transplant. They really are so bright and spread quickly if happy. Would really get me some early blooms.
