First buds opening on this new Aster, planted behind the new Carex.

It says 1.2m on the label, Di. I hope it does that next year, so it's more visible above that GORGEOUS Carex! (I do love it!)

Oh that sounds a good height. I love asters that wave around in borders at this time of year...just wish I had more space to grow them.
