Taken in the conservatory where it grows in warmth but out of direct sunlight.

Jacque. How old is your ponytail palm? Our cat Paddy has shown great interest in the leaves also. He even followed me through the house when I came home with it this morning, and was very excited! He doesn't get as excited when we have fish for tea!!

I dont have a Pony Tail Plant Aitchw :( Your cats sounds like he might be having a chew of your Palm pretty soon !

Sorry Jacque! I should have said this to Goringfolly, but only joined GOY last week! Anyway when I checked their piccies, I saw the answer to my question. Must clean the old grey matter tomorrow (in my brain)!! When I find the charger for my camera, I will try to post a pic of Paddy with the Ponytail Palm (if he keeps still long enough)!

This plant was started off in 1985 when it was about the size of an acorn!

Love this plant only wish i could have 1 but with my Naughty cat Sox iv no Luck :( he`d just spoil it by chewing all the pretty Leaves
