These Bismarck Palms are getting pretty large and tall. They were planted in 1997 and had not trunks. Photo taken Sept. 29, 2010.

Yes, they are. : > ) It's such a popular palm here because of the silvery-blue gigantic fronds...and they're very drought tolerant also.
