It looks great! Which city is it in?
I remember when this palm was $125.00 for a gallon plant...now you can get a large one this size for $35 -40.

They are very rare in the bay area Klahanie. They are hardy,but this is the only one I've seen in public.
Andy,its in the park that's next to the Union City Library. I call it the palm park. It must have a couple dozen sp. of Palms surrounding a Japanese pond theme complete with red arched bridge.
Some palms must be one of. The city landscaper told me he grew many from seed,others donated by local palm nurserys.

That Bismarckia nobilis sure looks great for growing in Union City. Once it develops a good trunk it should grow very fast.
Didn't you post a Bismarckia nobilis specimen growing in Newark, at one time?

I love the colour of these palms Stan. They really stand out in the landscape when older and tall. We have one in the neighbourhood...I think I posted last year.
