this is my buddleja Davidii 'empire blue' apparently the flowers may! darken with age to the shrub, as this is it's first year from cuttings..... i have my doubts though,,

Yes they say to cut them back at autum as they grow just as well if not better heard it from tv a council worker who works on the town gardens

that's right, although i give mine 2 haircuts, one after flowering just a trim then the full monty later :-)
