Yes, it looks very similar. This one is native to tropical India, Southeast Asia and Thailand. Its other common name is Indian Laburnum.
It's drought tolerant; however, needs some water in summer to look good. It's native to strong monsoonal climates where there's a lot of rain in summer.
These trees were really small back in 2012. I'm not sure which year they first started flowering.
