Clematis alpina 'Frances Rivis'

It's a new one, Eileen - so it's a small plant this year. The bigger (purple) alpina in the back garden is 'covered' in buds! That should be in flower this week, with any luck. :-))

I love Clematis and this looks like a nice one.

It's a recommended one - not sure if it has an AGM, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Yes - my 'Helsingborg' in the back garden is covered in buds! It'll be a picture when they open. :-))

Only maybe? I think 'Helsingborg' is more striking - it's more purple than blue...

Maybe I'll want that as well:-)
