This plant is 14 years old, a house warming present when we moved here. It got untidy and didnt flower so I decided to prune it right down to the ground in 2009 but despite a lot of new growth it did not flower last spring or this spring But today I spotted 1 lone flower which bodes well for next spring! I am so pleased can you spot it?

Yes HB that is it- it has lots of pretty blue bell shaped flowers in spring. I had actually forgotten GB that it used to reflower late summer.

I can just see the little bud. Hope it goes on to flower for you some more. Maybe it will flower a little longer if the summer/autumn remain mild.
