Clusia rosea - Autograph Tree

Clusia rosea - Autograph Tree (Clusia rosea - Autograph Tree)

My Autograph tree is growing like crazy! It really is loving the warm to hot weather this winter. Photo taken Jan. 4, 2018.

Is this a succulent? Love the leaves.

No, it's a tropical epiphytic tree. It can grow pretty large in time. Here in San Diego it grows to 30' feet or so. In Florida and Hawaii it can grow almost twice as tall...although, people keep them much smaller.

The leaves looks very much like Ficus species.

Andy, post some photo's of your Ficus palmeri- or those around town with interesting trunks.
A request-ha.

My Ficus palmeri is huge. I need to chainsaw it in half. My neighbor keeps complaining about the leaves falling on her side. Yikes! It was never indented to be planted where it's located. It grew into the ground being in a pot (like what most Ficus do here)

I have photos already posted on GoY of my Ficus palmeri. I can't find them. Maybe tomorrow I'll take some new pics of it. :>))

Looks very healthy the leaves remind me of Camelia's.

DD2:

Yes, it has leaves and a lot of aerial-roots just like most species of Ficus.
