Coffee Berries

The coffee tree in fruit , the green berries will turn red , thats when weeat them straight from the tree .Inside the berry the flesh is lemon fasting and you just suck the seeds till you no longer get flavour. A good fruit to stave off thirst. Inside each berry there are 2 beans which can be roasted and ground into coffee.not worth it if you only have 2 trees .

To tell the truth ,I did'nt know until 2 years ago either , my son was visiting from Darwin in the Northern Territory and I saw him pick sedds and put them in his mouth , thats when I discovered the lemon tang,

You can buy chocolate covered coffee beans to eat up here. They are really good....even if you don't like coffee (that would be me).
