They do indeed make a good show at a time of the year when there are still few flowers & what there are are mostly shades of yellow or white. Crocuses have blue, in different shades, as well as yellow & white. They also have stripes on many of the flowers & some have brown markings. So they are not just one plain colour. Being on the balcony railings they are at eye level too so you can appreciate them all the more! :-))
