This little plant is blooming very well. I have some growing in the ground on the side of the house. These are some of my favorite orange flowering plants. Photo taken May 30th, 2011 on Memorial Day.

This little tropical shrub should do very well where you live. It's native to southern India and Sri Lanka.

The flower looked familiar to me but the one that I have seen has another types of leaves.

The leaves look like gardenia leaves...they're very glossy.
