This is the common Queen Sago Palm. It's not quite as common as the Sago Palm (Cycas revoluta). Photo taken at Catamaran Hotel & Resort in Mission Bay, San Diego, CA. on Labor Day on Sept. 2, 2013.

It could be C. rumphii. Most of the plants here are labeled. I'll have to check next time I go to the Catamaran Hotel Resort.
I do know there's several very large C. rumphii at the San Diego Zoo.

What else?
See who else is growing Cycas circinalis - Queen Sago Palm.
See who else has plants in genus Cycas.
That MIGHT,not sure, be C.rumphii. I always think that when they get that large in California, its the bigger C.rumphii.
Very tropical looking..but good for areas along the coast and bay. Full sun. Don't bother wasting years in even part shade. Full sun and it may flush twice a year. In a greenhouse they can flush four times a year...blazing fast.
