Self sown from I know not where, this has appeared for the first time this year, growing between the patio slabs. The flowers are no more than half an inch across and the foliage is closely matted and low. Needless to say, it will be allowed to stay.

Better than the couch grass that has started to self seed around our pond!
But we have had speedwell self seed and it looks so pretty !
